A lovely read. I will be trying the parsnip recipe. I can also empathise about the slug. We often have the same, where on earth do they go during the day?! I’ve resorted to putting down salt but let me know if you come up with a better solution!
Hello Kathy and Tom. I really enjoy reading your updates and I am learning a lot. The parsnip recipe sounds delicious and I shall be trying it out soon. Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
Thank you so much for a lovely read. It all sounds so sosy and wintery. Here in Auckland we are struggling with a warm and humid start to summer. Merry Christmas to you both
Tom, Kathy, your Seasonal Supplements are a balm for the soul. Honestly, I've loved reading them this year. And the parsnip bake recipe comes at the perfect time as I have a whole bunch of them in the fridge waiting to be used. The new firelighting method you mentioned is the one I learned from my father. It's worked quite nicely for us, so I can recommend it to anyone else reading. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year. Read you soon:) xx
A lovely seasonal start to Sunday morning. Was particularly interested to hear the details of the Christmas cake ingredients. Hope it tastes as good as it sounds. Happy Christmas
What a beautiful way to start Sunday. I could go on reading for the rest of the day. Your words are inversely proportional to the cold outside. An ode to winter that warms the heart. Wishes for a Merry Christmas from Portugal.
Such a lovely read, again. I very much enjoyed reading the Seasonal Supplements this year and looking forward to more next year! Wishing you a beautiful Christmas x
